Key Responsibilities and Activities

• Event Organization: Plans major cultural events like Prabhavishkar Festival, featuring dance, music, and drama competitions.
• Student Engagement: Encourages student participation in cultural activities through auditions and workshops.

• Cultural Awareness: Organizes events to celebrate regional festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi and Marathi Diwas, promoting cultural heritage.
• Inter-College Competitions: Facilitates student participation in district and state-level cultural competitions.

In 2024, the Cultural Committee organized the Prabhavishkar Festival, which saw participation from over 300 students in events like folk dance, classical music, and street plays. The committee’s efforts led to PNP Junior College winning the Best Cultural Performance Award at the Raigad District Youth Festival. Workshops on traditional Marathi folk art forms, such as Lavani and Powada, were conducted to engage students with their cultural roots. The committee also collaborates with the Digital Marketing Committee to promote events through social media, increasing community engagement.

2024 मध्ये, सांस्कृतिक समितीने प्रभाविश्कर महोत्सव आयोजित केला, ज्यामध्ये 300 हून अधिक विद्यार्थ्यांनी लोकनृत्य, शास्त्रीय संगीत आणि रस्त्यावरील नाटकांमध्ये भाग घेतला. समितीच्या प्रयत्नांमुळे पीएनपी कनिष्ठ महाविद्यालयाने रायगड जिल्हा युवा महोत्सवात सर्वोत्कृष्ट सांस्कृतिक प्रदर्शन पुरस्कार जिंकला. लावणी आणि पवाडा यासारख्या पारंपरिक मराठी लोककला प्रकारांवरील कार्यशाळा विद्यार्थ्यांना त्यांच्या सांस्कृतिक मुळांशी जोडण्यासाठी आयोजित केल्या गेल्या. समिती डिजिटल मार्केटिंग समितीशी सहकार्य करून सोशल मीडियाद्वारे कार्यक्रमांचे प्रचार करते, ज्यामुळे समुदायाचा सहभाग वाढला.
