Examination Structure

PNP Junior College adheres to the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) guidelines for a rigorous and transparent evaluation system. The examination structure for 11th and 12th standards ensures academic excellence and holistic development.

11th Standard Assessment

• Two Unit Tests/Tutorials (20%): Conducted per semester to monitor progress in subjects like English, Marathi, Mathematics, and stream-specific courses.
• Terminal Examination (30%): Mid-year assessment covering all subjects, held in October/November.
• Annual Examination (40%): Comprehensive year-end exam in March/April, testing full syllabus knowledge.
• Practical/Oral Exams (10% for Science/Computer Science): Evaluate hands-on skills in labs for Science and Computer Science streams.
• Attendance: Minimum 75% attendance contributes to final grades.

Retests are permitted only for medical reasons with prior approval from the Examination Committee. Final results are an average of all assessments, ensuring fair evaluation.

12th Standard Assessment

• Two Unit Tests/Tutorials (Practice): Conducted to prepare students for board exams, covering key topics.
• Terminal Examination: Mid-year exam to assess preparation, held in October/November.
• Preliminary Examination: Mandatory for all streams, held in January/February, determining eligibility for HSC Board exams. Science students must pass a Preliminary Practical Test.
• HSC Board Examination: Final board exams in February/March, with results announced in May/June on the MSBSHSE website.

Failure to appear for preliminary exams results in non-submission of HSC Board forms. The Examination Committee ensures transparency and adherence to MSBSHSE standards.

• प्रात्यक्षिक/तोंडी परीक्षा (विज्ञान/संगणक विज्ञानासाठी 10%): विज्ञान आणि संगणक विज्ञान शाखांसाठी प्रयोगशाळेत कौशल्यांचे मूल्यांकन.
• उपस्थिती: किमान 75% उपस्थिती अंतिम ग्रेडमध्ये योगदान देते.

पुनर्परीक्षा फक्त वैद्यकीय कारणांसाठी परीक्षा समितीच्या पूर्व परवानगीने परवानगी आहे. अंतिम निकाल सर्व मूल्यांकनांच्या सरासरीवर आधारित असतात.

• HSC बोर्ड परीक्षा: फेब्रुवारी/मार्चमध्ये अंतिम बोर्ड परीक्षा, मे/जूनमध्ये MSBSHSE वेबसाइटवर निकाल जाहीर होतात.
